Our Mission
Ladysmith Steelers Football Association (LSFA) has a rich history as a premier small-market football program in BC, providing a fun, team-oriented environment where players of all skill levels can thrive. Our mission is to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive space where young athletes can grow both on and off the field.
We offer opportunities for youth in various age groups, including Atom and Pee Wee, with plans to include a junior bantam team in the coming years, all with a focus on building essential life skills such as teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect.
Through Football Canada’s Safe Contact Program, we prioritize player safety and continuously evolve our training to meet modern standards. At LSFA, we believe football is more than a game—it's a way to build community, confidence, and lifelong friendships.
LSFA is proud to be supported by dedicated volunteers, coaches, and community members who share our passion for youth development through sport. We invite families and local businesses to get involved, whether through participation, sponsorship, or cheering from the sidelines. Together, we can continue to provide a positive and enriching experience for all of our players, helping them grow both as athletes and as individuals.
